Use Your Voice for Change

Hey all!

In the last blog post we talked about how important it is to use your voice to share positive messages you need to express. We are big on expression and in a world that can be intimidating, belittling, and even harsh it’s more important than ever to use your voice, your talents, and your heart to create the change we all need to see! For us, one of the best things that comes from this podcast is learning from all the people we are able to interview.

In our previous episode with Pardeep Kaleka, he shares, “Happiness means following the subtle clues that are leading you to whatever your divine mission or purpose is supposed to be in this lifetime. Sadness is when you consciously (or subconsciously) ignore it because it’s inconvenient”. This is just one of many gems Pardeep shared. We hope you get a chance to listen to the full interview the episode is called Forgiveness is freedom

There are so many ways to share your messages and opinions. You can write a story or you can share you positive thoughts at the dinner table. You can share a social media post that inspires many, or create music to express if words aren’t enough. Posting our discussions on YouTube has provided an invaluable way to share our own stories through a visual medium. And now (every Wednesday) we provide insight into our own experiences and the lessons life has to offer.

We are firm believers that powerful messages can make powerful change. With the substantial amount of disharmony in the world, one of our greatest tools to reunite humanity are powerful messages of love, positivity, and hope.

Next week we’re introducing André Lovelle in episode two of season 2!

We were lucky enough to speak with him on our podcast about his journey in the US as a young black man. We won’t spoil much in this post but the wisdom he shares with us is timeless. André Lovelle is a former educator and writer that hails from Washington DC. In 2005, André launched his writing adventure with a blog called Blaxplanation. He used this blog as a tool to unpack black lives and start a dialogue about the vast and rich cultures the world has to offer. André has since written dozens of articles articulating the black experience through detailed and complex essays. He says that, “we cannot always let fear dictate how we interact with the world or how we live our lives. Because you cannot fully realize yourself if you are constantly operating through fear”.

We’re so excited for you to listen to this new episode next week and hopefully learn something new along the way!

Stay tuned,
