Umuco Love is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on society through Genocide prevention, peace building, and fostering a deep understanding of the connections between all people. Our mission is to create a world where cultural diversity is celebrated, and divisions are replaced with unity, reconciliation, justice and peace.

Our Beginning
Since 2014, our founder Dydine Umunyana has led conversations towards cultural storytelling, genocide prevention and trauma healing while promoting the importance of world peace to hundreds of thousands of individuals from all walks of life in an effort to bride the gap between us!

Our Mission
Umuco Love is a non-profit organization that raises awareness and understanding of the connections between all people through a variety of educational programs. “Umuco” means “culture” in Kinyarwanda — the official language of Rwanda. We are believers that by uncovering elements of shared history between people of different backgrounds, we can build bridges of understanding to overcome our divisions.
